12/17/97  Christmas Fudge  2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2  cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups ( 4 oz ) mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cups ( 9 oz ) semi chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla  Bring butter, sugar, evaporated milk & salt to a boil in a Medium
size, heavy sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in marshmallows, then chocolate chips, walnuts & vanilla.  Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.
Pour into oiled 8 " square pan or larger.
Chill and cut into squares.
